I'm sorry.
RUNLY NEWSLETTER #135
Thurs Nov 27th 2025
This has been one of those crazy, all-consuming weeks.
You know, this has been Runly's biggest month in it's (albeit short) history. I couldn't be more proud to be delivering top quality running gear to those running passionately across the world.
But of course, it's not always sunshine and rainbows.
48 hours ago as I was having a chat with our customer support manager Joanne (who does an amazing job), and I said 'it feels like email enquiries are down a bit lately, do you think so?'
She agreed. They had been slightly down, especially as it is one of the busiest months of the year.
So I looked into it.
Back in another life I was pretty handy with this sort of thing. So I am competent enough to be able to dig around in the trenches of the IT world to find the source of problems.
We scoured through the email logs manually, one by one, for the past month.
November 11th, 8:15pm we spotted something.
An email is showing up on the raw log, but it never came through to us.
I sunk down into my seat. How many more could there be in the last two weeks?
We have gone through the records one by one, and we think there could be up to 60 emails that have gone unanswered in the last two weeks.
Now first of all, if you know me, or if you read this newsletter, you know that I pride myself on building relationships, a rapport with our customers and a community.
Leaving potentially up to 60 people on unread, is not that.
Our email provider has let us down, and frankly, and perhaps ironically, their support in getting the issue resolved has been awful.
If you have emailed us and not received an email back when you should have, my sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
It's basically my worst nightmare as a brand owner.
Please give us a few days to sort out the issue with our email provider so we can get back on track to receiving and replying to all of your emails.
2XU WELLNESS RUN - THIS WEEKEND
Now that I have got the very upsetting news out of the way, you know the rollercoaster doesn't stop.
This weekend we're pulling up to the 2XU Wellness Run for Beyond Blue.
We activated at this event last year, and we absolutely loved it. This year, it's even bigger.
It is a completely sold out event. 17,000 runners will be hitting St.Kilda down in Melbourne for this one.
With a 30% increase in runners, the entire event layout has changed. It's much bigger, there's a dedicated retail village, food, music and lots of areas to hang out.
The people who run this event are one of my favourites to work with. They do a great job at providing an awesome atmosphere for runners, that isn't over the top, but allows everyone to have a good time.
With many events finished for 2025, I think this is a particularly well-timed event for people to register for to get their fix and support a great cause.
If you're running, come say hi, if you're not running but in the area, come check out the atmosphere.
Now, for the first time we are using our new marquee to activate at this event. It is a massive 6 metres long - double our old one.
I called my old man around to have a practice of getting it setup. My Mum came along too. Before we knew it was a full family affair getting this thing up and out.
We were dripping with sweat in the afternoon humidity, using all of our strength to hold this thing up at each end while someone clipped things into the middle of the marquee.
It was an ordeal.
This things weighs A TON.
So all I can say is wish me luck to get this thing setup on the weekend, I'm going to need it.
Thanks for your support as always, means the world.
Run well,
Robbie
