Hey, I'm Robbie.
I'm the founder of Runly.
We're an Australian-owned business. All of our products are designed here in our Melbourne studio.
Runly started as a personal solution to a problem I knew all too well. As someone who’s always been active—playing sport, running long distances, and tracking progress on Strava—I found it frustrating to carry the essentials I needed on my runs. Whether it was my phone, house keys, or more critical items like an EpiPen and asthma puffer, nothing seemed to work.
In the winter of 2021, I decided to solve the problem for myself. What started as a personal project turned into months of experimenting with different designs and materials. I wanted something lightweight, breathable, and free of bounce—something that would make running easier and safer without getting in the way.
At first, I had no intention of selling it. The vest was just for me, but on my runs, people kept asking where they could get one. After enough interest, I decided to create a small batch of 150 vests, just to see if anyone would buy them. To my surprise, the first drop sold out almost immediately.
From that moment, things took off. We've sold out over ten times since then, and today, we’ve expanded our range and Runly has grown beyond anything I could have imagined, but at its core, it’s still about solving problems and making running better for people like you and me.
I created Runly to help make every run more enjoyable, safer, and hassle-free. Whether you’re carrying your phone, water, gels, or medication, I want you to feel free to focus on your run, not on your gear. Thank you for being part of the Runly community and joining me on this journey.
