Newsletter #11 - Business update, haters & hydration.

Welcome back to another edition of the Runly newsletter!
As always, I'm your host (and Founder) Robbie. Every week I share with you some thoughts, updates on where we're at as a brand, and of course, some running talk. So, let's get into it!
BUSINESS UPDATE
This past week has been one of the most optimistic weeks I've felt about the whole business since we launched!
Our new hydration vest has been a huge hit with customers and we've seen a steady stream of orders coming in daily. It's a lot to manage, but a good problem to have.
I know we've hit the mark when our customers get behind a new product.
It's amazing to see how well our customers have responded to the product and I'm incredibly grateful for your support.
In the background, we've been working hard to make Runly a sustainable business in the running space.
I mean this in both an environmental sense, but also a long-term business sense.
This includes sourcing sustainable materials, working with ethical manufacturers, and reducing our environmental impact as much as possible. We're committed to making a positive impact on the world and will continue to do so as we grow as a brand.
From a business side, I'm making sure we get our books in good shape, looking at enhancing the brand experience and looking at some longer-term partnerships.
THE HATERS GON' HATE
As with all brands that run Facebook Ads, there will be haters.
It got to me a little bit this week, and I'll admit, I got a little bit down on it.
But then I took a step back and realized that for every hater, there are 50 more supporters out there. Your support means the world to us, and we wouldn't be where we are today without you.
I've run brands for the last 10 years. You can't do anything worthwhile without putting yourself out there, and there will always be negativity from a small group when you do.
I think I'm more resilient now than ever, but somedays it does get you down.
