An Important Message From Robbie

An Important Message From Robbie

Morning Guys!

Well, I had a late night last night.

At around 8pm I came to the realisation that for the previous four days no enquiries from our website’s contact form were getting through to us.

The good thing is, we have a lot of ways to get in touch with us - live chat, social media, and of course replying to any of our emails directly.

But I do fear that we have missed some enquiries from our customers, which really rattled me last night.

If you’ve read my weekly updates for a while now, you know that I’m really passionate about Runly, and I can get worked up when things like this go wrong.

At the end of the day I just want everyone to have a good experience.

So, it took me six hours, but we’ve now fixed it.

It’s always fun chatting simultaneously to major technology companies, all the while they’re both blaming the other 😅

But, we got there in the end.

It’s fixed.

The problem is we can’t get access to the enquiries submitted over the last four days.

If you submitted an online enquiry between March 16th and 20th but you haven’t heard back, please reply directly to this email and I’ll make it my mission to help you!

I know that these things happen.

It’s part of running a business, I guess.

But it honestly makes me sick knowing that people have reached out and haven’t received any reply at all.

Anyway, that’s what happened last night.

And now it’s fixed.

And I’m here to help if you need me!

R700 HYDRATION VESTS ARE BACK!

In much lighter and happier news, on Monday we received brand new stock for the seriously popular R700 Hydration Vest!

A big thank-you to those that pre-ordered over the last month or so. All pre-orders were dispatched by Tuesday morning.

We now have a few left - but not many. They’re 98% sold and I’m guessing they’ll be all gone within the next two days.

So if you’re looking to secure one for an upcoming event - tap here to get yours.

WANGARATTA MARATHON

Last week we had the pleasure of attending the Wangaratta Marathon & Fun Run up in Northern VIC.

It made for a big weekend, but we enjoyed every second of it!

We made the trek up the highway on the Saturday to setup at the showgrounds. It was a really smooth event and the organisers did an awesome job at ensuring that.

Once we setup we head off to enjoy the town for the night, setup a tent just outside the town and woke up at 5am to arrive and finish the setup.

If we’re being honest, it was a very slow start for us!

As is the case with a lot of running events, runners are super focused before the event so unfortunately we don’t get to have too many conversations.

But as the events got underway we had so many great conversations with legends - both local and some that had come from across the state.

I have to say, I’m really proud and excited to be a part of the running community.

It is events like this that really reinforce to me how good the running community is.

Egos are left at the gate, it’s about community and connecting with other people. As I was saying to numerous people, running is addicting.

But what a beautiful addiction it is - fitness, community, getting outdoors and bringing your family along for the journey.

All in all, it was a great event.

This Sunday will be a stark contrast to our previous regional events.

We’ll be setting up at the Merribek Fun Run which is literally a 5-minute drive down the road. An extremely small event and a very generous start time of 9am!

You can watch my recap video of the Wangaratta Marathon here.

That’s all for this week.

Remember, if you need me for anything you can always reply directly to this email.

Run well, Robbie.
