First Event, Strava + My Mission

It's been another big week here at Runly HQ!
 
Controlled chaos is what I would call it!

With the launch of a new collection, stock coming & going, logistics and upcoming events it's a busy time of year.

But, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Let's get into this week's newsletter.

⭐ OUR FIRST EVENT - FLINDERS RUNNING FEST

In exciting news we're going to be popping up at our first ever event in a few weeks!
 
On Sunday Feb 25th we'll be attending the Flinders Running Festival in VIC.
 
It will be our first event!
 
I've got the goal of getting to 15 events this year, with 5 of them already being locked in.
 
However, I've ordered a marquee/tent for our events but I don't know if it's going to arrive in time!
 
That will be a laugh for everyone - me standing there in the open morning chill just holding a few running vests 😅
 
If you're heading to the event or will be in the area - come say hi!
 
Obviously it's great to be able to showcase our innovative products, but more importantly I'm looking forward to meeting and engaging with the running community!
 
🟠 STRAVA
 
Over the last three months our subscriber list has more than doubled.

So I thought it would be good to mention that we have a Team Runly club on Strava.
 
This week we notched up 100 members!
 
Of those 100 members, 75% all got out for runs last week!

👀 MY VISION
 
I'm a very goals and 'vision-oriented' person. I like to visualise what Runly could look like in the future.
 
Ultimately, I want Runly to be one of the most sought-after and trusted brands in the running space.
 
I can see the brand with a few flagship stores across the country and worn at running events all across the world.
 
I have the vision for an array of different product categories across running and outdoor adventure that all enhance the experience for runners + adventure seekers.
 
Internally, I have a vision for a cool warehouse-office space with a small team of running-mad people who will continue to drive the brand forward.
 
It's really powerful when the brand that you run matches your own personal ethos.
 
And most importantly: you. The Runly fam. The running community being involved in everything we do - whether it be events, engaging with the community or helping us decide on new products.
 
But for now, we've got a bunch of exciting things in the works for the rest of the year that I can't wait to show you!
